IRD INVEST was founded with a clear conviction: capital is most powerful when it is paired with operational expertise, an engaged network and a genuine commitment to the territory. Since 1991, our group has accompanied more than 1,076 companies across Hauts-de-France and beyond, completing 25 operations in 2024 alone. We invest in startups through Nord Création, an SCR created in 1990 that remains 100% dedicated to company creation and business takeovers. For SMEs with revenues below €10M, Nord Croissance — created in 1991 — provides patient capital and expert accompaniment that the traditional private equity market rarely offers at this scale. IRD Entrepreneurs 1 & 2 are €20M entrepreneur funds targeting companies with revenues between €10M and €20M, drawing on a community of entrepreneurial investors who actively share their experience and networks with portfolio companies. FE2T, launched in 2021, is our largest vehicle at €80M, designed to support mid-caps above €20M in revenue through transformational operations while keeping their headquarters rooted in the region. Across all our funds, we deploy operating partners for hands-on operational support, and our COBOOST accelerator co-builds and monitors action plans in real time. RSE Inside reinforces our commitment to responsible business practices by acting as a CSR architect for the companies we back. The Groupe IRD is also active in M&A and real estate, extending our capacity to support complex strategic operations. We are members of Entreprises et Cités, an ecosystem that federates entrepreneurs and works for the collective success of businesses and their surrounding communities.
